Topic of Discussion: The Future of NIST SP 800-53
NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-53 provides the most comprehensive (and already paid for) set of security and privacy controls for systems and organizations. SP 800-53 serves as the foundation of cybersecurity risk management programs for all federal agencies. Many in the cybersecurity and privacy community are familiar with the publication but may not know about NIST’s newest resources to support implementers!  Learn more about newly released resources such as the quick start guide for small and medium enterprises, online introductory courses on the SP 800-53 series, and the public comment website, and NIST’s vision for future revisions of SP 800-53.
Don’t miss this opportunity to gain insights from industry leaders and network with fellow cybersecurity professionals. We look forward to seeing you there!
