July 2019 Update
Thanks again to Dr. Diane Murphy at the Marymount Ballston Campus for hosting our July meeting. John Felker from DHS CISA gave us an overview of his organization and passed along some great advice on how to manage cybersecurity. As with all of our guest speakers, we appreciate his contribution to the local cybersecurity community!
Our next general session meetings:
August 8: CANCELLED
September 12: Ron Ross, NIST Fellow to give us an update on the 800 Series at Marymount in Ballston
October 10: Jamie Williams from MITRE to talk about the ATT@CK framework at Amazon in Herndon
November 14: Ashley Mahan from GSA (INVITED - AWAITING PAO APPROVAL) to talk about FedRAMP back at Marymount in Ballston
As these sessions are confirmed, we will post them on our event calendar and send out email notifications to our members so you can register. Make sure you are registered as a member so you can get notified - our events fill up quickly. If you have any questions or have ideas on how we can improve your experience as a chapter member, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for your support.
