Miranda Richie
Speaker Bio:
Miranda Ritchie is the Director of Cyber Threat Operations at Orbia, where she has recently built Orbia's first Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT), a global vulnerability management and pen testing program, and a cyber crisis response program. Prior to joining Orbia 18 months ago, she spent 7 years at IBM where she launched and delivered their Managed Detection and Response service lines globally. Miranda has also worked for the Departments of State and Homeland Security in various information security and cyber intelligence roles. A GWU alumna, Miranda received the National Science Foundation Cyber Corps Scholarship for Service, which prompted her interest in pursuing cybersecurity as a career. Passionate about extending opportunities to other women in the STEM field, Miranda is also active in Women's Society of Cyberjutsu (WSC). Miranda lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband and rescue dog, Spock.
